An intermediate and interactive seminar for those ready to plan their social media marketing campaign. Participants will explore social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, set up accounts with the services they choose and begin networking online with others in the group. By the end of the day, you will have active social media accounts and a strategy for harnessing these free Web-based tools for your next marketing or promotions campaign.

By the end of the day, each participant will have a vastly improved level of Web literacy, which will include:

• various active social media accounts
• interacting with others in the group, including tweeting, re-tweeting, tagging, following, hyperlinking, friending, embedding and commenting
• a suggested prescription for a social media strategy for their company or association
• a group discussion about a social media strategy for their company or association
• a fill-in-the-blank social media proposal to bring back to their company or association

Please note participants must bring with them a lap top computer. Wireless Internet access will be complimentary.
